Manor Operatic Society

Manor Operatic Society, based in Sheffield, is one of the largest amateur theatre companies in the UK.

The society was formed in the 1950's on Sheffield's Manor estate. We performed our first pantomime at the Montgomery Theatre in 1970 and by 1986 we had to move to the Sheffield City Hall to cope with audience demand.

With a cast of over 50 members, we now produce the biggest amateur pantomime in England and attract a total audience of over 30,000 each year.

We also perform a musical around May each year, as well as appearing at other events around the city.
